Mr. Balcar

Mr. Jonathan Balcar is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. Mr. Balcar obtained his Masters of Social Work at Florida State University. He has 10 years of experience in case management and supporting patients and clients in inpatient and outpatient settings, ranging from juvenile justice centers to acute care hospitals. Mr. Balcar is a mental health therapist who cares about helping people live in the present moment for themselves and the lives of others around them.

Mr. Balcar supports clients working through grief, anxiety, and loss, including experiences like infertility and emotional trauma. He specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and aims to help people who struggle to understand and express their emotions. Mr. Balcar strives to support people who feel isolated and alone by inspiring healing and growth. He does this by building a therapeutic alliance with his patients and working collaboratively with them to help them meet their own goals. His goal is to empower his clients to understand their value and live up to their own idea of success and well-being.

Mr. Balcar’s warm and uplifting style is welcoming and encouraging for those who need it. He has a flexible schedule and is available nights and weekends in person and virtually for telehealth appointments.
